Carrie Underwood has surely come a long way from the days that she first graced the American Idol audition room stage. The girl next door from Oklahoma has brought country music to new levels. One of the first crossover artists to do very well on country and pop charts, this former pizzeria waitress has been nominated across the board for her vocal talent. She's been nominated for a Grammy, Billboard, AMA, Golden Globe and every country music award you can think of and has even stolen the spotlight from heavy hitters like Faith Hill. Now, like those heavy hitters, she is embarking on a year-long worldwide tour that kicks off in May of 2013.
