Jason Derulo Launches First Headlining North American Tour

August 12, 2014

Five years after topping the Billboard charts with his debut single, one of the R&B scene’s biggest male stars will finally embark on his first ever headlining North American trek following the release of Jason Derulo tickets for 13 dates this fall.

The 24-year-old, who picked up Star Male at Sunday’s Teen Choice Awards, has only previously toured in his homeland as a support act to the likes of Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas. But following the success of his third album, Talk Dirty, he will now take centre stage with a run of shows which kicks off at Minneapolis’ Royal Oak Theatre on October 15.

Nominated for two gongs at next week’s MTV Video Music Awards, Derulo will then visit the likes of St. Louis’ The Pageant on October 19 – tickets for which are available on TicketIQ at a get-in price of $85 – New York’s Best Buy Theatre on Oct 22 ($98) and North Myrtle Beach’s House Of Blues on Oct 29 ($98) before wrapping up at Miami’s The Fillmore on November 2 ($98).

Alongside opening performances from Californian rapper Becky G and hip-pop producer Wallpaper, fans with Jason Derulo tickets should also look forward to hearing his recent Top 20 singles “The Other Side,” “Talk Dirty” and “Wiggle,” as well as all the hits from his 2010 self-titled debut (“Whatcha Say,” “In My Head,” “Ridin’ Solo”) and 2011 follow-up Future History (“Don’t Wanna Go Home,” “It Girl,” “Fight For You”).

Jason Derulo tickets are also on offer on TicketIQ for the star’s performances at Doswell amusement park Kings Dominion’s 40th anniversary celebrations on August 29 ($92) and Pomona’s Los Angeles County Fair on September 24 ($65).
