Top Indie/Alt Concert Tickets Of The Week (11/3)

This weeks top indie and alternative concerts include such fan favorites as The Airborne Toxic Event, Tokyo Police Club, and the Black Keys. Punk rock legends Bad Religion also appear here as well as Andrew McMahon’s solo outing at Rams Head Live.

11/6 The Airborne Toxic Event at the Ogden Theatre

The California Indie Rockers will play the Denver venue on the 6th. The band will be releasing their fourth album Dope Machines in the near future. Fan can expect to hear come songs of the new album including lead single “Wrong”. The band will play a second show at the Ogden on the 7th before taking a month long break. The Airborne Toxic Event will resume on December 12th with a show in Las Vegas.

11/7 Andrew McMahon at Rams Head Live

Andrew McMahon is most well known for being the frontman for the bands Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin. He is now on a solo tour in support of his debut solo record Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness. On the 7th he will be in Baltimore, Maryland’s Rams Head Live. Fans can expect to hear lead single “Cecillia and the Satellites” as well as some old favorites from McMahons other bands like “Woke Up In a Car” and “The Mix Tape”.

11/9 The Black Keys at Viejas Arena at The Aztec Bowl

Rock duo The Black Keys are playing Viejas Arena at the Aztec Bowl in San Diego on the 9th. The band released Turn Blue earlier in the year which debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 charts. Tickets for this show have an average price of $219.95 but fans can be able to get in for as low as $119.00. The duo also has a show in Los Angeles on the 6th at the Forum and a show in Las Vegas on the 8th at the Cosmopolitan.

11/7 Tokyo Police Club at the Garrick Centre

Canadian indie band Tokyo Police Club will play the Garrick Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba on the 7th. The band put out their 3rd full length record Forcefield earlier this year led by the dancy single “Hot Tonight”. The band is currently on a Canadian tour hitting cities big and small with supporting band Said the Whale. Upcoming shows include the Riddell Centre on the 8th in Regina, Saskatoon and the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, British Columbia on the 15th.

11/9 Bad Religion at the Mayan Theatre

The punk legends Bad Religion are playing the equal legendary Mayan Theatre in their hometown of Los Angeles, California. The bad released True North last year and recently finished up a huge tour with Pennywise and the Offspring. This is the only show announced right now for Bad Religion so look for future announcements for a tour or other one-off shows. Openers include the Scandals and Baby Baby.
