One of the UK’s most enduring rock groups, The Moody Blues, will return to the North American stage next spring after announcing a 27-date tour in support of their new eight-disc boxset.

The long-standing line-up of frontman Justin Hayward, bassist John Lodge and drummer Graeme Edge will kick off their Timeless Flight – The Polydor Years Tour at Worcester’s Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts on March 19.

The trio will then take in the likes of the Rochester Auditorium Theatre on Mar 25, Portland’s Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on April 24 and Scottsdale’s Talking Stick Resort on May 8, as well as two-night stands at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on Mar 20/21 and Niagara Falls’ Fallsview Casino Resort on April 1/2, before wrapping up at Morrison’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 10.

The Moody Blues tickets are currently available on TicketIQ for the shows at Wallingford’s Toyota Oakdale Theatre on Mar 22 (get-in price $352), the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Mar 27 ($92), Merrillville’s Star Plaza Theatre on Apr 9 ($208) and San Jose’s City National Civic Auditorium on Apr 28 ($124).

Coinciding with the release of The Polydor Years 1986-1992, a collection of studio albums, unreleased material and live performances which hit the shelves last month, the tour is expected to focus heavily on the three LPs (The Other Side of Life, Sur La Mer, Keys of the Kingdom) the group released during their six-year period with the label.

Fans with The Moody Blues tickets should therefore look forward to hearing the likes of US Top 10 hit “Your Wildest Dreams,” The Karate Kid II favorite “Rock N’ Roll Over You,” and their final Top 40 single “I Know You’re Out There Somewhere.”
