2015 NBA All-Star Saturday Tickets Averaging $357 Per Seat

The NBA All-Star Weekend is fast approaching, scheduled to take place in New York City. Both of the city’s teams, the New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets, will host part of the festivities. All-Star Saturday will be hosted at Barclays Center in Brooklyn as Saturday’s festivities at All-Star Weekend will feature the most popular events of the weekend that include the Degree Shooting Stars, Taco Bell Skills Challenge, Foot Locker Three Point Contest, and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, showcasing the league’s biggest and brightest stars.

On TicketIQ, tickets for Saturday’s All-Star event currently has an average price of $931.49 on the secondary market. The least expensive ticket to get in for Saturday’s event is priced at $357, as tickets are now down 8% over the past week.

Four events will be featured for All-Star Saturday with the first event being the Degree Shooting Stars. In this event, current NBA players, NBA Legends, and players from WNBA will team up and compete in this annual contest that pits teams against each other in a timed contest that will test’s the participants both short and long shooting skills. The team captains and participants will be announced soon.

The second event is a fun contest called the Taco Bell Skills Challenge that will feature six of the top guards to compete for a title in a two round obstacle course that will have a series of passes, lay ups, and agility drills. The lineup of guards will be announced soon but expect some the best points guards in the game to participate.

The third event is one of the most popular of All Star Weekend which is the Foot Locker Three Point shooting contest that will feature six of the best long range shooters in the league. The shooters compete against each other to score the most three pointers in a timed competition. This year’s lineup could be among the best ever. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors, Kyle Korver of the Atlanta Hawks, Wesley Matthews of the Portland Trail Blazers and J.J. Reddick of the Los Angeles Clippers have been reported as participants. That leaves one spot still open for the contest.

Finally, the main event is of course the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest one of the most anticipated events of the All Star Weekend festivities. The most athletic NBA players will take the air and impress fans with their theatrics and high flying creative jams. The participants this year include Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Zach LaVine of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Victor Oladipo of the Orlando Magic and Mason Plumlee of the Brooklyn Nets.
