Alt-J Announces 2015 Tour Dates

(UPDATE 1/16) English rock band alt-J took the indie rock work by storm in 2012 with the release of their debut album An Awesome Wave. They recently put out their sophomore album This Is All Yours last fall and are now on a short tour in support of that release. The average ticket price for the tour is set at $127.62. The tour kicks off in New York City on March 30th at the iconic Madison Square Garden. On April 1st the tour heads to the midwest with a show in Cleveland, Ohio at the State Theater at Playhouse Square. On the 3rd alt-J make their way south with a show in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Red Hat Amphitheatre. The show on April 8th in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the Chevy Bricktown Events Center has the cheapest average ticket price of the tour of only $68.80. After that show alt-J will play at the Coachella Music Festival on the 11th in Indio, California where there will share the stage with Belle and Sebastian, Jack White and others. The tour then heads to Las Vegas, Nevada where the band will play the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. That show has the most expensive average ticket price of $256. Alt-J will then finish their tour in California with a show at the Santa Barbara Bowl in Santa Barbara on the 14th and a show at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on the 16th before coming back to Coachella on the 18th. Alt-J Announces Tour Dates In Support Of 'This Is All Yours' Album

(UPDATE) Alt-J has released a more expansive set of tour dates through the end of 2014 and the start of 2015. The late 2014 dates will mostly be holiday festivals, such as KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas in Los Angeles on December 14. The band will then head over to Europe for three months before resuming U.S. tour dates at the end of March. The band will play seven shows from March 30 to April 8, including a show at Madison Square Garden on March 30 and a April 6 concert at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.

2012 saw an explosion of indie rock from the United Kingdom which was spearheaded by  Alt-J and their acclaimed debut record An Awesome Wave. The Leeds based band are releasing their second full length album This Is All Yours this September are are supporting the new release with a string of tour dates.

Fans should get their Alt-J tickets quickly as the tour average price is at $255.07. On October 14th Alt-J starts their tour in North America in Vancouver, Canada at the Orpheum Theatre. Moving down the Pacific coast stopping in Seattle on the 15th at the Paramount Theatre and in Portland at the Roseland Theater on the 16th. After that Alt-J plays a few shows in California including a show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on October 20th. Fans looking to get more for their money can catch Alt-J on the weekend of November 7th at the Fun Fun Fun fest in Austin, Texas. Alt-J will share the stage with with Death Cab for Cutie, Guided by Voices, and more.

The band returns to Canada to play the Metropolis in Montreal on November 12th. On November 16th Alt-J plays the Beacon Theatre in New York City and then ends their tour on November 19th at the Echostage in Washington D.C. A full list of North American tour dates can be found listed below:
