Following an eventful All-Star Break over the weekend, the NHL winds back up on Tuesday as the second half of the season begins. The Rangers, Canadiens and Flames will host top-priced games, with Saturday night welcoming three of this week’s most expensive matchups.

 

1/31 - Carolina Hurricanes at New York Rangers  |  Avg. Price: $392.40  |  Get-in Price: $115

The Rangers will host this week’s most expensive game against the Hurricanes on Saturday night. The average price for Rangers vs Hurricanes tickets is $392.40 and the get-in price is $115 on the secondary market. The Blueshirts have come alive in recent weeks, winning eight of their last 10 and their last three in a row. They own third-place honors in the Metropolitan division and will look to gain ground on the top-placed Penguins and Islanders when they take on the Hurricanes at Madison Square Garden this weekend.

A Sunday afternoon matchup between the Coyotes and Canadiens at the Bell Centre in Montreal will serve as the second top-priced game. The Canadiens have also played well over their last 10 games, going 7-2-1 and owning third place in the Atlantic division. They’ll welcome the struggling Coyotes, who have gone just 16-25-5 on the year.

A Canadian battle between the Oilers and Flames will take place at the Scotiabank Saddledome this Saturday. Calgary and Edmonton have struggled over the first half of the season and both teams sit in the bottom half of the Pacific. Despite their struggles, however, their weekend matchup will be the third most expensive game this week.

An Eastern Conference Final rematch will occur at Madison Square Garden this Thursday when the Rangers welcome the Canadiens. Rangers vs Canadiens tickets own an average secondary price of $294.94 and the game’s cheapest seat is listed at $103. New York took the series in six games last season and went to its first Stanley Cup Final since 1994, though fell to the Kings in five games.

The Canadiens will again host at top-priced game against the Capitals on Saturday night. The Capitals have been efficient in the Metro division, owning fourth-place honors with 57 points and a 24-14-9 record. They’ll have some ground to make up if they want to stay out of the Wild Card spot, however, as the Islanders, Penguins and Rangers will all contest for the top spot in the division in the second half of the season.
