English funnyman Eddie Izzard will be stateside this summer when his Force Majeure Tour hits the U.S. from May through early July. The tour is slated for 33 dates beginning at Festival Concert Hall in Fargo, North Dakota on May 19 and wraps at J.Q. Lawson Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City on July 1.
The comic won’t just be performing his usual whimsical banter, however. For fans who have less desirable seats during his stop at the Hollywood Bowl on June 6, Izzard has announced a special Q&A prior to his performance. Those with tickets in sections Q-X will be allowed to enter the venue at 6 p.m. and chat with Izzard at 6:30. All other fans with tickets in different sections won’t see doors open until 7 p.m.
Izzard has stated that no questions will be off limits during his meet and greet in Los Angeles. No other Q&A dates have been announced just yet, but fans can expect the comedian to offer more if all goes well at the Hollywood Bowl.
13 of his upcoming dates will be held in California, with multiple shows scheduled in Golden Gate and California Theatre in June. The entire leg will be held in the Western U.S.
The Force Majeure Tour has been ongoing since March of 2013 and Izzard has taken on five continents since. Pre-sale for his upcoming U.S. dates has begun and the official on-sale date is set for February 20 at 10 a.m. CST. Tickets are available through EddieIzzard.com.
