Dodgers Most Expensive, Diamondbacks Least Expensive April Opponents On Giants Schedule

March 26, 2015

Over the last five years, the San Francisco Giants have won three World Series championships. San Francisco has cemented its status as the best run organization in Major League Baseball. During each of its recent World Series title runs, one starting pitcher has stepped up and performed at historic levels. Madison Bumgarner was instrumental in San Francisco’s playoff run last season. Bumgarner set a MLB-record by posting a microscopic 0.25 ERA in 25 World Series innings. Success does result in some turnover as players opt to take bigger contracts after winning championships. That notion held true when Pablo Sandoval bolted the Bay Area for the Boston Red Sox. Sandoval was one of San Francisco’s best postseason hitters and will be sorely missed. San Francisco and Los Angeles are once again expected to vie for the National League West crown during 2015, so expect emotional confrontations between these two proud organizations. To date, San Francisco is 6-16 in Cactus League play. An overview of April ticket prices is presented below.

Opening Day, which features an intriguing matchup against Colorado on April 13th, features the second highest ticket prices during April. San Francisco has the talent to win its fourth World Series championship in the last six years. Its pitching depth, however, will be the key to its success. San Francisco does not have much depth behind Bumgarner, so all eyes will be on Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum to step-up and regain their top form.
