An Update On Secondary Market Wrestlemania Tickets

March 24, 2015

(UPDATE 3/24) With each passing year, WrestleMania is billed to be bigger and better than the last. That ranges from the host venue, the matches and until recently, the ticket prices. As little as two weeks ago, secondary market prices for WrestleMania 31 at Levi’s Stadium were on pace to be the most expensive for any WrestleMania since at least 2010, but prices have fallen as the event is less than a week away. Over the past two weeks, the average price for WrestleMania tickets on TicketIQ has dropped 14%.

Currently, the average price for WrestleMania tickets is $365.08 with a get-in price of $96. This is still one of the most expensive WrestleManias over the past five years, trailing only WrestleMania XXIX in 2013.

(2/23) The Road to WrestleMania is now in its home stretch. With the conclusion of the Fast Lane pay-per-view, the next big event on the WWE calendar will be WrestleMania XXXI at Levi’s Stadium. The main event of the card is now set after Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane. Now Reigns, the 2015 Royal Rumble winner, will officially take on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar.

During Fast Lane, one other WrestleMania match was made official. WWE COO Triple H will take on the legendary Sting. After a long career in WCW and a stint in TNA, this will be Sting’s first ever match in a WWE ring.

Currently, the average price of WrestleMania XXXI tickets on the secondary market is $390.10 with a get-in price of $110. That is currently more than double the price of WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans last year. The average is just below the price of WrestleMania XXIX, which took place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The $396.75 price is the most expensive average for a WrestleMania since at least 2010 when TicketIQ started keeping track of data.

There will still be much to be revealed in the five weeks before March 29. The futures of Bryan, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt will be interesting to watch in the proceeding weeks. As more matches become official, we will have the updates as well as up-to-date pricing for WrestleMania.
