The Cleveland Indians will look to build upon last season’s 85-win campaign as they tangle with the Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals for supremacy in the American League Central division. Cleveland is led by the reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber and outfielder Michael Brantley, who finished third in American League MVP voting. Cleveland also boasts an impressive core of veteran players that is led by center fielder, Michael Bourn. To date, Cleveland is 6-9 in Cactus League play. Bourn has a team high 11 hits in 22 at-bats while first baseman, Carlos Santana has clubbed two home runs. Kluber is working through some early troubles as he’s given up four earned runs in seven innings.

Cleveland will play nine home games during April. On TicketIQ, tickets in April on the Indians schedule have an average price of $47. Opening Day, which features an intriguing matchup against Detroit, on April 10th, features the highest ticket prices during April. The average price for Indians Opening Day tickets is $175.65 while the get-in price is $100. The next most expensive home game during April features a matchup against Detroit on April 11th. The average ticket price for this matchup is $68.47 while the get-in price is $17. The least expensive home game during April features a matchup against Kansas City on April 28th. The average ticket price for this matchup is $27 while the get-in price is $5.

Cleveland has the talent to win the American League Central division. Its pitching depth, however, will be the key to its success. Cleveland does not have much depth behind Kluber, so all eyes will be on Carlos Carrasco to step-up and replicate his production during the second half of the 2014 season.
