Top Broadway Tickets Of The Week (3/23)

Tickets for Broadway shows on the secondary market have decreased in average asking price compared to last week with “Cabaret” returning to the list as the top priced Broadway show this week.  Other Broadway productions featured in this week’s top shows include a familiar lineup with “The Book of Mormon,” “Curious Incident,” and “Fish in the Dark continuing their strong runs.  Here are the top five Broadway tickets of the week on the secondary market, according to TicketIQ.

3/29/15- Cabaret | Avg. Price: $588.58 | Get-in Price: $179

Broadway play “Cabaret” makes a return to the top shows list as the top priced Broadway ticket on the secondary market.  The show tells a story of a 1930’s nightclub in Berlin where a young English performer strikes a relationship with an American writer.  “Cabaret” tickets for this Sunday’s show at Studio 54 are going for a secondary average price of $588.58, with a get-in price of $179.

 

3/28/15- Curious Incident | Avg. Price: $555.24 | Get-in Price: $108

The Curious Incident” Broadway production has been featured on the top shows list for 12 straight weeks and will have a show this Saturday at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Curious Incident tickets for Saturday’s show are going for an average price of $555.24 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $108.

 

3/28/15- Fish in the Dark | Avg. Price: $547.41 | Get in Price: $275

This self-penned comedy from co-creator of Seinfeld Larry David continues to make its way on the top shows list. Fish in the Dark tickets for this Saturday’s show at the Cort Theatre are going for an average price of $547.41 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $275.

 

3/28/15- Rodgers & Hammerstein’s the King and I | Avg. Price: $524.78 | Get-in Price: $183

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s the King and I recently opened on Broadway this month and will have a show this Saturday at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre.  This Broadway production tells the story of a British Governess who tries to help an Eastern King come to terms with the modern world.  Tickets for Saturday’s show have a current average price of $524.78 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $183.

 

3/28/15- Book of Mormon | Avg. Price: $ 487.81 | Get-in Price: $238

For the fourth straight week, the “Book of Mormon” is being featured and tickets for Saturday’s show Eugene O’Neill Theatre have a current secondary average price of $487.81, with the least expensive ticket to get in priced at $238.
