2015 49ers Schedule: Packers Most Expensive, Rams Least Expensive Home Games

April 22, 2015

The San Francisco 49ers took a major step back in 2014, as they went into the season with Jim Harbaugh seemingly on his way out of town and the team under insane “Super Bowl or bust” pressure. It was all too much in the end, as the team floundered to a 7-9 finish. Their slide led to the firing of Harbaugh and suddenly a team that had been to three of the last four NFC title games lost it’s identity. San Francisco promoted Jim Tomsula from within to maintain continuity, however, and could be hinging their future on the development of quarterback Colin Kaepernick. The team will still need to make up for key losses (Patrick Willis retired, Frank Gore and Michael Crabtree left in free agency) but if Kaepernick can progress in the pocket as a passer, it’s possible San Francisco’s time away from the playoffs can be a brief stay.

It should come as a surprise to no one that one of the 49ers’ biggest games of the year comes against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 7. San Francisco 49ers tickets will see a considerable spike when Seattle comes to town. The get-in price for 49ers vs Seahawks tickets is $141.

Seattle stifled San Francisco’s offense in both meetings a year ago, so the goal will be to be more balanced and less predictable. Landing speedy wide receiver Torrey Smith just might open up the passing game enough to make that happen, while bruising second-year running back Carlos Hyde could punish Seattle’s run defense. That is the result in a perfect world when it comes to this matchup, but that’s going to be the Niners’ approach for every game in 2015. If they can maintain that focus, things might just start breaking their way again.

Beating the Seahawks one time at home won’t get the 49ers where they need to be all by itself. They’ll surely want to take down their bitter rivals when they have to head over to to Seattle in Week 11, as well, while they also face a rigorous schedule outside of a tough NFC West.

However, the game against the Seahawks won’t be the most expensive matchup at Levi’s Stadium this season. That will come in Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers. 49ers vs Packers tickets have a get-in price of $162.

The Week 17 regular season finale against the St. Louis Rams will be the least expensive home game of the season. 49ers vs Rams tickets have a get-in price of $101.
