ACM Awards Welcomes Country Stars and Big Secondary Ticket Prices

The 50th annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be held at AT&T Stadium in Dallas on April 19th. Superstars Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will co-host the ceremony, which honors country music’s biggest and upcoming performers.

If hoping to attend the festivities, tickets won’t be cheap on the secondary market. The average price for Academy of Country Music Awards tickets on TicketIQ is $336.67. The cheapest available ticket is listed for $68. Last year, the event was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and tickets averaged at $267.20, marking a year-over-year price jump of 25.9%.

Jason Aldean, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Florida Georgia Line are all nominated for Entertainer of the Year. New Artist of the Year nominees are Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.

In the Vocal Group of the Year category, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Rascall Flatts, The Band Perry and Zac Brown Band are all up for nomination. Album of the Year will see Jason Aldean’s Old Boots, New Dirt, Little Big Town’s Pain Killer, Miranda Lambert’s Platinum, Dierks Bentley’s Riser and Eric Church’s Outsiders nominated.
