The epitome of a one-hit-wonder in the US being huge overseas, Spandau Ballet are following up on their hugely successful 2009 reunion that saw them perform Stateside for the first time in 28 years at this past SXSW festival with a short North American tour this winter.

Best known in the US for mega soundtrack hit “True”, the sibling filled band are legends in the New Romantic movement alongside Duran Duran, Culture Club, and Ultravox and were overseas chart toppers throughout the early 1980's with “Lifeline”, “To Cut A Long Story Short”, and “Chant No 1”. The band has just dropped their first new single in over 25 years, entitled “This Is The Love”.

Spandau Ballet will have a busy week following the tour announcement, performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Good Day LA as well as premiering their documentary “Soul Boys Of The Western World” this Saturday at the SVA Theatre in New York City.

The US tour is short but sweet, hitting most major US markets, including LA's Wiltern Theatre, Chicago's House Of Blues, and New York's Beacon Theatre. Pre-sale Spandau Ballet tickets go on sale Tuesday with a general public on-sale this Saturday.
