Darius Rucker Gives “Southern Style” To New Album And Tour

(1/15/15) Country pop mega star Darius Rucker will be heading back out on the road this May in support of his latest album, Southern Style, which is set to be released on March 31. The Hootie and the Blowfish frontman took to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to announce his big plans in 2015.

The Southern Style Tour will start on May 14 in Holmdel, New Jersey and will make 30 North American stops in arenas across the U.S. and Canada. Supporting acts include Brett Eldredge, the Brothers Osbourne and a Thousand Horses. More dates will likely be added as the tour inches closer.

Darius Rucker tickets to the singer’s forthcoming tour go on sale in select cities on January 26 through Live Nation’s country platform Megaticket. It will be Rucker’s first tour since last year’s True Believers Tour, which ran in support of the eponymously named album.

“Homegrown Honey”, the first single off of Southern Style, was released last August. The album was produced by longtime connection Frank Rogers, who had a hand in all three of Rucker’s previous records.
