(UPDATE 5/26/15) The Tampa Bay Lightning have a chance to put away the New York Rangers at home during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Final. You wouldn’t know it by the ticket prices, however. On the morning of Game 6, Lightning playoff tickets have an average price of $227.68 on the secondary market. That makes it the least expensive game of the series to be played in Tampa by 27%. The get-in price Tuesday night at Amalie Arena is only $86. If New York win to force a Game 7, Rangers playoff tickets are currently 540% more expensive than Game 6. The current average price for a potential Game 7 on Friday night is currently $1,457.41 with a get-in price of $643.

Lightning Game 6 Tickets Down 44% Despite Bolts Being Up 3-2 In Series

(UPDATE 5/25/15) The Tampa Bay Lightning came into New York City last night and took control of their Eastern Conference Finals series against the Rangers with a 2-0 win at Madison Square Garden. The Bolts now take a 3-2 series lead back to Tampa with a chance  to punch their Stanley Cup Finals tickets on Tuesday. The averaging ticket price for the game is $287 on the secondary market, which is down 44% in the last week. The get-in price is $110. A stark difference to ticket prices for the series if it comes back to New York. Game 7 tickets--if the Rangers can win on Tuesday--are averaging $1447, with a get-in price of nearly $650.

NY Rangers Game 5 Tickets Down 54% On Resale Market

The Rangers were able to reclaim home ice and even their series with Tampa with a dominating 5-1 win last night in game 4. Despite the huge win, secondary market tickets prices for Sunday's pivotal game 5 at Madison Square Garden have been steadily dropping over the last week and that decline continued into Saturday morning. One week ago, the average price for the game on TicketIQ was $1097 per seat. That price has dropped 54% and tickets are now averaging $542. The get-in price dropped 33%, falling from $366 to $244.

Lightning Game 4 Tickets Averaging $290 On Secondary Market

(UPDATE 5/22/15) Tampa Bay has a chance to take control of the Eastern Conference Final with a win in Game 4. The Lighting, after scoring six goals in each of the past two games, have been an offensive force against the New York Rangers. With a win at home, the Lightning can take a 3-1 series lead. That might not be too safe, however, as the Rangers came back from that same deficit in the last round to defeat the Washington Capitals. Lightning playoff tickets for Game 4 have an average price of $290.39 and a get-in price of $138 for what could possibly be the final game of the series in Tampa Bay.

Lightning Game 4 Tickets vs Rangers Are Averaging $320 On Secondary Market

Tampa will try to extend that lead on Friday night during Game 3 at Amalie Arena. Tampa Bay fans seem excited and that shows in the secondary market price for Lightning playoff tickets. Game 4 currently has an average price of $320.09 and a get-in price of $133. Even with the Rangers down in the series, Game 5 is currently 95% more expensive when the series goes back to Madison Square Garden. Rangers playoff tickets have an average price of $622.88 and a get-in price of $235.

The Rangers and Lightning will play Game 3 of the series on Wednesday night at Amalie Arena. On the secondary market, the average price of Lightning playoff tickets for Game 3 is $229.04 with a get-in price of $91. Game 3 will be the least expensive of the series, as Game 4 on Friday night has an average price of $314.40 and a get-in price of $131.

That will be the cheapest game played in Tampa as tickets for Game 4 on Friday night currently have an average price of $329.26.

Rangers Game 2 Tickets vs Lightning Are Averaging $557 On Secondary Market

The New York Rangers have played a one-goal game in every game during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, in addition to ending the last two Stanley Cup Final games in 2014 by one-score. Luckily for the Rangers, they have won more than they lost in that span and head into Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Tampa Bay Lightning with a 1-0 series lead. Game 2 on Monday night currently has an average price of $556.78 on the secondary market. The get-in price for Rangers playoff tickets is $228.

Rangers Game 1 Tickets vs Lightning Are Averaging $898 On Resale Market

That’s usually a term reserved for the NCAA Basketball Tournament, but it appears to be how the New York Rangers got through their second round series of the Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Washington Capitals. It took seven one-goal games for the Rangers to advance, but they will make their way to the Eastern Conference Final. They will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning, who defeated the Montreal Canadiens in six games. The series will start Saturday afternoon for Game 1 at Madison Square Garden.

During the Conference Finals against the Montreal Canadiens last season, Rangers tickets had an average price of $953.78.
