(UPDATE 5/13/15) Heading into Game 5, the Houston Rockets looked finished in their series against the Los Angeles Clippers. However, they were able to get an impressive 124-103 win to hold off elimination. They will now head to Los Angeles down 3-2 in the series. Clippers fans may be expect a trip to the Western Conference Finals already because ticket prices are dropping on the secondary market. Clippers playoff tickets for Game 5 have an average price of $297.10 with a get-in price of $60. None of the previous two games at Staples Center had an average price below $300.

Rockets Game 5 Tickets vs Clippers Are Down 19% In Last 24 Hours On Resale Market

He leads all players in both points and assists and has led the Los Angeles Clippers to a 3-1 series lead over the Houston Rockets. With Houston in a big hole, the prices for Rockets playoff tickets have started to drop on the secondary market. Currently the average price for Game 5 is $176.53 with a get-in price of $55. The first two games of the series at Toyota Center had an average price above $300. Since the end of Game 2, the average price for Game 5 has dropped 44.2% on the secondary market.

Clippers Game 3 Tickets For Playoff Series vs Rockets Are Averaging Nearly $300 On Secondary Market

(UPDATE 5/7/15) After a disappointing Game 1 loss, the Houston Rockets were able to draw even with the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 2. Behind 34 points from James Harden and 24 points from Dwight Howard, the Rockets were able to take a 115-109 win on their home court and head to Los Angeles with a tied series. Clippers playoff tickets for Games 3 and 4 at Staples Center will average nearly $300 on the secondary market. the current average price for Game 3 on Friday is $297.70 with a get-in price of $66. Game 4 on Sunday has an average price of $293.37 with a get-in price of $61.

2015 Rockets vs. Clippers Playoff Tickets Are 6% Higher At Staples Center Than Toyota Center

(5/4/15) James Harden did not win the NBA MVP, but he did help the Houston Rockets make the second round for the first time in their past three playoff appearances. During the five game series against the Dallas Mavericks, Harden averaged 28.4 points and 7.8 assists per game. His PPG average was behind only Anthony Davis as Steph Curry in the first round. Houston will now welcome the Los Angeles Clippers, who survived an exciting seven game series against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Rockets will have home court advantage during the series, hosting a potential four games at the Toyota Center. On the secondary market, Rockets playoff tickets have an average price of $320.31 across all four games. However, the first two guaranteed games of the series have an average price of $227.71. The Rockets were 3-0 at home in their first round series against the Mavs.

According to basketball-reference.com, the Clippers have a 68.8 percent chance of winning the series with a 12 percent chance of making the Finals.
