April has come and gone and the MLB regular season is heading into its second month. Some performances from the opening month may prove to be small sample flukes, while others could start to appear sustainable. With May comes warmer weather and a more comfortable atmosphere at the ballpark. However on the secondary market, no game will hold an average price above $100 this week. 5/9 - Kansas City Royals at Detroit Tigers | Avg. Price: $80.94 | Get-in: $34

Sitting atop the American League Central standing are the Detroit Tigers and Kansas City Royals. The two teams will meet for the second time this season over the weekend. Detroit and Kansas played each other for four games last week, splitting the series. The most expensive Tigers vs Royals tickets for this three-game series will come during the middle game on Saturday.

The New York Mets have cooled down slightly after their hot start, but still comfortably sit in first place of the NL East. They will travel to Philadelphia this weekend to play the last place Phillies. Those wanting to see this matchup on Mother’s Day will see the most expensive prices of the series. Phillies vs Yankees tickets have an average price of $75.72 with a get-in price of $23.

5/9 - Miami Marlins at San Francisco Giants | Avg. Price: $74.41 | Get-in: $23

It’s an odd year, so the San Francisco Giants are struggling. This weekend they’ll welcome the also struggling Miami Marlins to AT&T Park. Giants vs Marlins tickets on Saturday have an average price of $74.41 and a get-in price of $23.
