2015 Mayhem Festival Tickets Averaging Below $100 on Resale Market

(UPDATE 6/23/15) All blends of metal will come together at the 2015 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, which kicks off at Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Chula Vista, California this Friday. Featuring headline performances from metal juggernauts Slayer, King Diamond, Hell Yeah and The Devil Wears Prada, this year’s Mayhem Festival will make 27 stops across North America through early-August.

According to TicketIQ, the average price for Mayhem Festival tickets is currently $97.49 on the secondary market. The most expensive tour date comes on July 21 at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. That show owns a secondary ticket average of $160.03 and the get-in price, or cheapest available ticket, is $15. Other top-priced stops include July 26 at Jones Beach Theatre ($145.84/avg.), August 1 at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion ($134.85) and July 31 at Whitewater on the Horseshoe ($132.50/avg.).

Conversely, the cheapest tour stop will be the opening date this Friday in Chula Vista. That show owns a secondary ticket average of just $36 and get-in price starts at $10.

The 2015 Mayhem Festival will tour the U.S. and Canada through August 2, when it wraps at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas.

2015 Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival Headliners + Tour Dates Announced

(4/15/15) Every summer metal fans can look forward to a festival dedicated to their favorite genre. This is the 8th year for the Mayhem Festival sponsored by Rockstar Energy Drink and features a killer lineup of bands. The festival includes some newer heavy hitting bands like Sister Sin, Code Orange, and The Art is Murder with legendary headliners King Diamond and Slayer.  The festival kicks off on June 26th at the Sleep Train Amphitheater, located right outside San Diego, California. Staying in California the festival tour heads to San Bernadino at the San Manuel Amphitheater on the 27th and the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View on the 28th. Mayhem stops in the southwest on July 3rd with a show at the Ak-Chin Amphitheater in Phoenix, Arizona and on the 4th in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Isleta Amphitheater. On the 12th Mayhem will stop at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheater in Tinley Park, which is right outside Chicago. Though the festival does not come to New York City, fans in NYC have a selection of nearby shows they can travel to the first of which is in Camden, New Jersey near Philadelphia at the Susquehanna Bank Amphitheater on July 17th. There will also be a show in Holmdel, New Jersey at the PNC Bank Arts Center on the 21st and at Jones Beach in Wantagh, New York on the 26th. Mayhem then heads south and will conclude its run in Dallas, Texas at the Gexa Energy Amphitheater on August 2nd. Tickets for Mayhem Fest go on sale on April 17th at 10am local time.
