Alkaline Trio Seeing Secondary Market Ticket Demand for Spring Discography Tour

(4/29/15) Fresh off a short touring stint with Blink-182, Matt Skiba has returned to his main project in Alkaline Trio for a six-week road affair across the U.S. Titled the “Past Live” Tour, the band is performing all eight of its studio records over four consecutive nights at each venue on tour. Such a special occasion has given rise to a strong demand for tickets on the secondary market, and Alkaline Trio tickets for remaining dates currently average at $52.16 on TicketIQ.

The band is currently immersed in its exhaustive catalogue at the Triple Rock in Minneapolis, where the trio plays two more shows through Thursday. According to TicketIQ, the most expensive remaining tour date will be on May 16 at Brighton Music Hall in Massachusetts. That show owns a secondary average of $70.75 and get-in price starts at $44. Three shows at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California (June 4, 6-7) also see ticket average above $70.

Conversely, Alkaline Trio’s cheapest dates will be at the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia between May 7 and 10. The band plays it least expensive show on May 8, with tickets averaging at just $24 and get-in price starting at $12. Of the three remaining shows at the TLA, none average above $41.

The Past Live Tour runs through the U.S. until June 7, when it wraps in Southern California.
