Top Broadway Tickets Of The Week (6/8)

A familiar lineup of Broadway shows will be featured this week as “The King and I” once again is the top priced Broadway show on the secondary market after tickets for the musical have increased 66% over the past week.  A new Broadway musical, “An American in Paris,” makes the list this week which tells the romantic story of a young American soldier.  Below are the top five Broadway tickets on the secondary market on TicketIQ.

6/10/15 – The King & I | Avg. Price: $992.75 | Get-in Price: $438

“The King & I” Broadway musical continues its long reign as the top priced Broadway ticket on the secondary market.  The King & I tickets this Wednesday have have an average secondary market price of $992.75, with the cheapest seat priced at $438.

 

6/13/15 – The Audience | Avg. Price: $412.15 | Get-in Price: $175

The Audience,” a new Broadway musical, which debuted at the Schoenfeld Theatre this past March is closing later this month.  The show stars Academy Award winning actress Helen Mirren in her return to Broadway as The Audience tickets for this Saturday’s show have a current secondary average price of $412.15, with the cheapest seat priced at $175.

 

6/9/15 – The Curious Incident | Avg. Price: $396 | Get-in Price: $122

“The Curious Incident” is once again featured this week with a showing on Tuesday at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre. The Curious Incident tickets are going for an average price of $396 on the secondary market, and a get-in price of $122.  The show features a 15-year-old boy who falls under suspicion of killing a neighbor’s dog but sets out to find the true killer.

 

6/14/15 – An American in Paris | Avg. Price: $360.65 | Get-in Price: $79

The new Broadway musical “An American in Paris” first debuted at the Palace Theatre this past April and is now featured in this week’s top Broadway shows.  The musical tells a romantic tale of a young American Soldier and a beautiful French girl.  An American in Paris tickets for this Sunday’s showing have a secondary average price of $360.65, with a get-in price of $79.

 

6/14/15 - The Book of Mormon | Avg. Price: $340.60 | Get-in Price: $170
“The Book of Mormon” makes a return to the list as a showing this Sunday at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre.  The Book of Mormon tickets for Sunday’s show have a current average price of $340.60 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced at $170.
