A Look at the Average Smashing Pumpkins Setlist on ‘The End Times’ Tour

(UPDATE 7/17/15)  10 days have passed since The Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson began their joint “The End Times” Tour in California. 16 tour dates remain through the beginning of August, and the average price for Smashing Pumpkins tickets is now $131.02 on the secondary market.

The tour makes its most expensive remaining stop on July 31 at Jones Beach Theater in New York. That show owns a secondary ticket average of $172.35 and the cheapest available ticket is $31. Other top-priced dates include August 4 at Molson Canadian Amphitheatre ($159.98 avg./$54 get-in) and July 25 at Aarons Amphitheatre ($157.27 avg./$28 get-in).

The DTE Energy Music Center in Detroit welcomes the cheapest tour date on August 5. Smashing Pumpkins Detroit tickets average $92.73 and the get-in price starts at $22. No other dates remaining average below $100 on the secondary market.

Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson Launch ‘End Times’ Tour Tonight in California

(UPDATE 7/7/15) It will be a gothic summer for The Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson, who team up for their joint “End Times” Tour across the U.S. and Canada beginning tonight at Concord Pavilion in California. through the beginning of August. The duo will be out on the road together through the beginning of August and is generating a considerable demand for tickets on the secondary market. The average secondary price for Smashing Pumpkins tickets and Marilyn Manson tickets is currently $132.21 over the 23-show road stint.

Credit top-priced gigs at Jones Beach Theater on July 31, Molson Canadian Amphitheatre August 4 and Aarons Amphitheatre July 25 for the exorbitant ticket prices on the resale market. The tour’s stop at Jones Beach currently owns a secondary ticket average of $209.72, making it the only show that averages above $200 across the entire month-long tour. The cheapest available ticket to that gig is $33. Stops in Toronto and Atlanta own ticket averages of $179.80 and $160.56, respectively.

The “End Times” Tour’s cheapest date comes on July 16, when it hits NRG Arena in Houston, Texas. Smashing Pumpkins Houston tickets currently average at $67.42 and the get-in price is $36. Other cheapest-priced shows include Red Hat Amphitheater on July 26 ($93.49 avg./$27 get-in), Red Rocks Amphitheatre July 13 ($98.04 avg./$55 get-in) and DTE Energy Music Theatre August 5 ($103.26 avg./$20 get-in).

The Smashing Pumpkins are touring in support of Monuments to an Elegy, their 2014 studio release. Manson hits the road backing The Pale Emperor, his ninth studio album that was released back in January. The tour continues in North America through August 8, ultimately wrapping at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati.

Smashing Pumpkins Announce First-Ever Acoustic Tour

It’s been 27 years since the Smashing Pumpkins first formed, and the band’s two core members are continuing to push their artistic envelope. The Chicago-based band will embark on its first-ever acoustic tour this June, prior to a three-month summer stint with Marilyn Manson.

The tour, being called the “In Plainsong Tour”, will kick off at the Riviera Theatre in Buffalo on June 15. Eight shows in total are scheduled through June 25, when it wraps at Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis.

The setlist will feature an array of songs from the Smashing Pumpkins catalogue as well as Zwan and Billy Corgan’s solo project. Along with the joint summer tour with Manson, the short stretch of acoustic dates will be in promotion of Monuments to an Elegy, the band’s latest studio effort.

Smashing Pumpkins and Marilyn Manson Announce ‘The End Times’ Joint Tour

A two-decade long tiff has apparently been squashed, and Billy Corgan and Marilyn Manson have announced dates on The End Times Tour, a 23-city joint tour that will run across the U.S. and Canada in July and August. Corgan will be joined by the Smashing Pumpkins on all dates.

The tour kicks off at the Concord Pavilion in California on July 7 and will wind around the continent through August 8, when it wraps at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati. The sole Canadian date is scheduled for August 5 at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre in Toronto.

Other memorable stops along the tour route include The Joint in Las Vegas, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, Austin City Limits Live, Jones Beach Theater in New York and DTE Energy Music Center in Detroit.

The Smashing Pumpkins and Manson will primarily hit amphitheaters and pavilions over their month-long road stint. Manson will be on tour supporting The Pale Emperor, which was released in January. The Smashing Pumpkins will tour on 2014’s Monuments to an Elegy.
