Top Broadway Tickets Of The Week (7/13 - 7/19)

The top Broadway shows returns with a familiar lineup compared to the past few weeks as The King and I continues to dominate on the secondary ticket market once again coming in as the top priced Broadway ticket.  The Curious Incident, Hamilton, Kinky Boots, and The Lion King are also featured this week.  Here’s a breakdown of each top Broadway ticket on the secondary market on TicketIQ.

7/15/15 – The King and I | Avg. Price: $443.95 | Get-in Price: $206

Since opening this past April, The King and I has dominated the secondary ticket market. Its showing for this Wednesday at the Vivian Beaumont Theater have tickets going for an average price of $443.95 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced $206.  Kelli O’Hara and Jose Llana star in this Broadway revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic.

7/15/15 – The Curious Incident | Avg. Price: $355.22 | Get-in Price: $138

After transferring to Broadway from the acclaimed National Theater production, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time continues to produce strong numbers at the Broadway box office. Curious Incident tickets for Wednesday’s showing at the Ethel Barrymore Theater have a secondary average price of $355.22, with the cheapest seat priced at $138.

7/15/15 – Hamilton | Avg. Price: $329.12 | Get-in Price: $87

The new Broadway musical production Hamilton, about founding father Alexander Hamilton, began showing previews this week at the Richard Rodgers Theater.  A preview will be shown this Wednesday with Hamilton tickets going for an average price of $329.12 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $87. The Show officially opens on August 6.

7/15/15 – Kinky Boots | Avg. Price: $304.72 |Get-in Price: $87

Kinky Boots is now into its second year of production and still continues to produce strong numbers at box office after pulling in six Tony Awards, including Best Musical in its first year of production.  Kinky Boot tickets for Wednesday’s show at the Al Hirschfeld Theater are going for a secondary average price of $304.72, with a get-in price of $87.

7/15/15 – The Lion King | Avg. Price: $293.07 | Get-in Price: $151

One of the longest running and highest grossing Broadway shows in history, The Lion King makes its way back on the top shows list, now in its 18th year of production.  There will be a Wednesday night at the Minskoff Theater and Lion King tickets have an average price of $293.07 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced at $151.
