Chicago Bulls to Host Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015-16 NBA Season Opener

The 2015-16 NBA schedule will be released on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET, but sources are already reporting that the Chicago Bulls will host the defending Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers at the United Center in the season opener on October 27. News of the game was first reported by K.J. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune on Tuesdayafternoon.

New also broke earlier in the day that the Bulls will face the Oklahoma City Thunder at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Christmas Day. Following their bout with Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook the Bulls will travel to Dallas to take on the Mavericks on December 26.

Though a specific date has not been confirmed just yet, the Bulls are also scheduled to play the reigning NBA champion Golden State Warriors in Oakland in November. It will be the first of three extended road trips the Bulls will make during the season.
