Cowboys vs Giants

The Dallas Cowboys are the slight favorites to come out of the NFC East, but many argue it’s simply too close to call.  This past offseason the Cowboys let go of the league’s leading rusher, DeMarco Murray, to a division rival in the Philadelphia Eagles and now have three backs who will rotate at the position.  The New York Giants on the other hand have a new defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo to run the defense in 2015, but the offense is a concern and the Giants are hopeful rookie sensation Odell Beckham Jr. can continue his tremendous play on the field.  The Cowboys open their season against the Giants on Sunday, September 13 at AT&T Stadium for the first 2015 edition of Sunday Night Football as the NFC East is going to be fascinating to watch.

In the first of two meetings this year between these two teams, Cowboys tickets for their season opener are going for an average price of $295.16 on the secondary market, with the cheapest ticket priced at $97.  This is one of the Cowboys most affordable games this season as tickets are 3% below the overall average price for Cowboys tickets at AT&T Stadium in 2015.

Their second and final meeting of the season takes place on October 25 during Week 7 at MetLife Stadium as this will be by far the most expensive Giants game at MetLife in 2015.  Giants tickets are going for an average price of $397.35 on the secondary market, 42% above the overall season average price for Giants tickets at MetLife Stadium this season and 34.6% more expensive than the game in Dallas. The get in price for this game is $155.

The first meeting between the Giants and Cowboys took place back in 1960, ending in tie and have they since played each other 105 more times with Dallas leading the all-time series 61-43-2.  Dallas has been dominating as of late as they come into the season winning their past four meetings.
