The newly-designed Las Vegas Arena won’t open until April of next year, but that hasn’t stopped it from scheduling big-name guests seven months prior to its ribbon-cutting. Iconic country star George Strait on Tuesday announced a four-show stay at Sin City venue between the month of April and September, and Kacey Musgraves will open each date.

Strait will play in Las Vegas on April 22 and 23 and September 9 and 10. It will be a rare sighting of the country star, who in 2012 announced that he would stop touring after the conclusion of “The Cowboy Rides Away" Tour two years later. However, on Tuesday he also revealed plans for a new record, Cold Beer Conversation, and the title-track first single.

Tickets for all four Las Vegas show go on sale to the general public beginning next Friday, October 2 at 10 a.m. PT via StaittoVegas.com. Prices will range between $75 and $200 depending on the section of the arena.

“I’m very excited to be coming back out and playing for the fans out there,” Strait said in the press release. “I’m really looking forward to it so much. Come April, it’ll be about a year and 10 months since I performed with my band … It’s gonna be exciting to get back out there again. I’m looking forward to singing those songs that I love so much.”
