(Update 9/2/15) UFC 191 will be a five fight main card featuring one championship bout, which is of course in the main event. The good news for fans is that UFC 191 tickets continue to plummet in price as the event nears and are now down 11% over the past week at an average price of $294.26 on the secondary market, with the cheapest ticket priced at $60.

UFC 191 tickets are now 40% below the average price of tickets at the MGM Grand for UFC events so far in 2015, making it by far the cheapest event available all year of the four pay-per-view main cards taking place at the venue in 2015.

The much more affordable UFC tickets than usual at the MGM Grand will make it worth it for the fans looking to attend a UFC card in Vegas for an exciting night of fights that will also include two Light Heavyweight bouts between top contenders in the division and a Women’s Strawweight bout.

UFC 191 Tickets Are Averaging  $332.45 On Secondary Market

The UFC returns to Las Vegas during the first weekend of September when the MGM Grand Garden Arena hosts UFC 191. The event on September 5 features the main event between Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson (22-2-1, 4KOS) taking on the No. 1 contender Josh Dodson (17-6, 8 KOs) in a rematch from their January 2013 bout won by unanimous decision by the champion Johnson.  The co-feature of the card is a very intriguing Heavyweight bout between two former UFC Heavyweight Champions with Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski (24-10-1, 17 KOs) taking on the veteran Frank Mir (18-9, 5KOs) in matchup of two resurging Heavyweights hoping for another shot at the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

UFC 191 is five fight main card featuring one championship fight, which is of course in the main event. The good news for fans wishing to attend is that UFC 191 tickets are among the cheapest tickets of the six UFC events tracked by TicketIQ taking place at the MGM this year.  Currently, tickets are going for an average price of $332.45 on the secondary market, with the cheapest ticket priced at $70.

UFC 191 tickets are 27% below the average price of tickets at the MGM Grand for UFC events so far in 2015, making it the cheapest event available all year of the four pay-per-view main cards taking place at the venue this year.

Fans will still get a lot of bang for their buck besides the two featured bouts of the card, it also includes two Light Heavyweight bouts between top contenders in the division and a Women’s Strawweight bout.

In the co-feature, Frank Mir and Andrei Arlovski will finally lock horns for the first time as both Heavyweights have had a career resurgence this year.  Arlovski, since returning to the UFC last year, is coming off three big wins including two knockout wins over heavily favored Antonio Silva and Travis Browne.  Frank Mir’s career at MMA seemed all but over following four straight defeats between 2012-2014, but the veteran of 27 fights came back this year with two upset wins over Antonio Silva and Todd Duffee.  The winner of this bout will be in line for another title shot.

In the main event, UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson will look to make the seventh defense of his title against a familiar foe, a man he’s faced before, and who is now the No. 1 contender, Josh Dodson.  In their initial meeting in 2013, Johnson defeated Dodson by unanimous decision in what was the fight of the night that evening and was a very competitive bout that warrants a rematch.

UFC 191, however, will just be the appetizer for two of the biggest UFC events coming up over the next few months. UFC 194, also at the MGM Grand will feature the mega fight between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor. The following month, Ronda Rousey will headline UFC 195 against Holly Holm. Tickets for neither of those fights have gone on sale yet, though some speculative tickets have already hit the secondary market.
