September 23, 2015

Cleveland Cavaliers Quicken Loans Arena

The new NBA season is just a little under two months away and heading into the season, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the overwhelming favorites to repeat as the Eastern Conference champions.  While every expert expected the Cavaliers to win the NBA title last year, last season was a success for Cleveland considering they played the majority of the playoffs without Kevin Love and five games in the NBA Finals without their point guard, Kyrie Irving.  This season, however, it’s championship or bust for the Cavaliers with the tremendous talent they have on their squad.  During the offseason, the Cavaliers re-signed Love to a five-year contract, Iman Shumpert is also returning to the team and the Cavs exercised their options with players Timothy Mozgov and Mike Miller.  Still, the Cavs are looking to bring back Tristan Thompson but remain $14 million apart as NBA training camp kicks off next week.  Below are the top five Cavaliers tickets for the upcoming season on the secondary market according to TicketIQ.

1/18/16 vs Golden State Warriors | Avg. Price: $326.26 | Get-in Price: $75

The most expensive Cavaliers tickets on the secondary market for the upcoming season at Quicken Loans Arena is of course their only showdown with the Golden State Warriors at home.  The Warriors soundly defeated the Cavaliers in six games in the NBA Finals this past June and Golden State remains a threat to repeat as Champions this season.  Warriors vs Cavaliers tickets have a secondary average price of $326.26, with a get in price of $75.

1/23/16 vs Chicago Bulls | Avg. Price: $323 | Get-in Price: $64

The Chicago Bulls were the toughest test for the Cavaliers during their run to the NBA Finals as the Bulls stretched the Cavs to six games in the Eastern Conference semifinals.  The Bulls remain relevant in the East and one of the teams the Cavaliers will have to hold off throughout the upcoming season.  They face off on January 23 next year at the Quicken Loans Arena as tickets for this game have an average price of $323 on the secondary market, with the least expensive ticket to get in priced at $64.
