New Orleans Jazz Fest Lineup Announced; Stevie Wonder, Pearl Jam Among Headliners

January 19, 2016

As one of the biggest festivals in the country, the New Orleans Jazz + Heritage Festival routinely brings in acts ranging from many musical genres across its seven days and two weekends of music. This year the festival will take place from April 22-24 for the first weekend and April 28-May 1 for the second weekend.

On Tuesday morning the 2016 New Orleans Jazz Fest lineup was revealed and in keeping with the tradition, a wide array of artists are scheduled to play. Headliners for the festival include Stevie Wonder, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul Simon and Neil Young. Others scheduled to perform include Gary Clark Jr., Nick Jonas, Snoop Dogg and Steely Dan.

New Orleans Jazz Fest tickets are relatively inexpensive for those looking just to pick and choose which days to get in. Single day tickets for both weekends start at $60 through February 2, before bumping up to $65 through April 21. The gate price is listed at $75. Tickets are available now through the festival's website.

Last year on the secondary market, tickets rose above face price with single-day tickets for the first weekend coming in at an $82 get-in price. The second weekend varied more with no day dropping below $78, but two days had a get-in price of $91.
