Tailgating may be prohibited in the parking lots of Levi’s Stadium ahead of Super Bowl 50 on February 7, but that shouldn’t stop fans from partying in style before kickoff. As is the case each year, there will be a number of options available to those looking to get the full Super Bowl experience during their time in Northern California, and TicketIQ is here to break down the best tailgating parties from San Francisco to Santa Clara on game day.
1) Great America Tailgate | California’s Great America Parking Lot (Santa Clara)
Located just a stone’s throw away from Levi’s Stadium is California’s Great America amusement park, which will utilize its parking lots for a mammoth tailgate party at the Pavilion on February 7. Thousands of tailgating fans are expected to show while the park will also be hosting its own series of corporate-sponsored parties inside its walls as well. The park is typically known for its “Red Zone Rally” tailgate prior to San Francisco 49ers games, and the fun will continue as SB 50 strolls into town this year.
2) Players Tailgate with Erin Andrews and Guy Fieri | Santa Clara Convention Center Parking Lot (Santa Clara)
If looking to be among star power before the game, look no further than the Players Super Bowl Tailgate in the Santa Clara Convention Center parking lot, which is located just west of Levi’s Stadium. FOX Sports’ very own Erin Andrews will emcee the festivities while additional appearances from world-renowned chef Guy Fieri. The tailgate will feature an open premium bar and all-you-can-eat dining services, with a five-star menu created by Fieri himself. Many past and former NFL players will also be in attendance. It will run on Super Bowl Sunday from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
