Adele To Play Small Pre-Grammys Show at The Wiltern In Los Angeles

February 10, 2016

Update 2/10: Adele isn't nominated for any Grammy awards this year -- her smash album 25 came out after the cutoff date -- but she will be performing on the Staples Center stage during the show. Days before, she will hit another Los Angeles stage with a recently announced February 12 show at The Wiltern.

Tickets for the intimate show -- The Wiltern has a capacity around 1,8000 -- are being offered to California area residents that have previously been on the Adele mailing list. This is similar to the singer's September performance at Radio City Music Hall, which allowed access through a mailing list sweepstakes.

However, there will be plenty of chances for fans to see Adele live in 2016 as she embarks on her world tour, though getting there will come at a cost. The current secondary market average price for Adele tickets is $961.60 across her North American dates starting in July.

Adele Announces 54 Show North American Tour - Tickets On Sale Dec 17

It's official - Adele will be touring the U.S. and Canada in 2016. The pop star, who has experienced mammoth success on the heels of her latest record, 25, will tour the continent between July and November and make 54 stops along the way.

The North American stretch kicks off on July 5 and Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. Each city the "Hello" singer hits will get at least two shows. Notable stops include New York's Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles' Staples Center, Chicago's United Center, Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Arena, Boston's TD Garden and Dallas' American Airlines Arena. The leg concludes on November 9 at Toyota Center in Houston (full tour date list at bottom of post).

As the chart above illustrates, New York, California and Texas lead the way. Not featured here are her Canadian dates. She will be performing at Vancouver’s BC Place on July 16th and 17th, and Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on October 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th.

On the secondary market, prices are almost guaranteed to eclipse those from Adele's last tour, though that was cut short due to the health problems that would leave the singer out of the spotlight for almost three years. Her shows over the previous tour averaged $168.81 on the secondary market. Most of those also came in much smaller venues. The singer has exploded in popularity and is now on track to sell out some of the world's biggest arenas on multiple nights during her upcoming tour. For her dates at London's O2 Arena, Adele tickets are currently ranging between a $400 to $800 average for the 40 to 80 tickets available for each show. View Adele's complete 2016 North American tour dates at the bottom of this post.

Below is a setlist from her recent Radio City Music Hall show that could be a preview of what is to come for Adele Live 2016, per data from setlist.fm.

Hello, Water Under the Bridge, One and Only, Hometown Glory, Chasing Pavements, All I Ask, Set Fire to the Rain, Daydreamer, Sky fall, Someone Like You, Million Years Ago, When We Were Young, Rolling in the Deep
