Oklahoma vs. Ohio State Is Most Expensive Week 3 CFB Game

September 13, 2016

Week 3 of the 2016 College Football season is upon us, and several marquee matchups will take center stage on Saturday. This week's top-priced game will be held at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, where Oklahoma sets to host Ohio State. The scene then shifts to South Bend, where Notre Dame prepares to battle Michigan State in the second most expensive game of the week. Louisville takes on Florida State, Appalachian State welcomes Miami and Nebraska takes on Oregon to round out this week's top-priced games.

9/17/16 Ohio State @ Oklahoma | Average Price: $452 | Get-in Price: $210

After being upset by Houston in Week 1, Oklahoma quickly returned to form against Louisiana-Monroe this past weekend, posting a convincing 59-17 victory over the Warhawks in the home opener. They'll remain in Norman this weekend when they host Ohio State, and tickets won't be cheap on the secondary market. Oklahoma tickets against Ohio State now own an average resale price of $452 and the cheapest available ticket is listed from $210. The Buckeyes head to Norman on the heels of a 48-3 win over Tulsa.

9/17/16 Michigan State @ Notre Dame | Average Price: $299 | Get-in Price: $138

The Irish will play the second of three straight home games this Saturday. They'll have their hands full with the Spartans, however, and fans will be paying top dollar just to get past the gates at Notre Dame Stadium this week. The average price for Notre Dame tickets on the secondary market is $299 and the get-in price starts from $138 against Michigan State. Don't expect prices to drop much more for remaining Notre Dame games - the Irish are the most expensive team in college football this season.

9/17/16 Florida State @ Louisville | Average Price: $293 | Get-in Price: $144

The Cardinals have cruised over the first two weeks of play, hanging a cumulative 132 points on Charlotte and Syracuse. They won't likely have as big an offensive outpouring against Florida State this weekend, however, as the 2-0 Seminoles look to keep their position as No. 2 on the AP Top 25 poll. Louisville vs. Florida State tickets own a secondary market average of $293 and the cheapest tickets are listed from $144 each.

9/17/16 Miami @ Appalachian State | Average Price: $292 | Get-in Price: $172

Appalachian State kept it interesting against Tennessee in Week 1, outscoring the Vols 13-3 at the half. The Vols would have the last laugh, though, scoring 17 unanswered points in the second half to claim the victory. The Mountaineers set to host Miami this weekend in what will be the fourth most expensive game of the week. Appalachian State vs. Miami tickets own a $292 average and $172 get-in price. Miami will play its first game away from Hard Rock Stadium after going 2-0 against Florida A&M and Florida Atlantic.

9/17/16 Oregon @ Nebraska | Average Price: $270 | Get-in Price: $156

A third straight home game is on tap for Nebraska this week, as the Cornhuskers set to host Oregon at Memorial Stadium. Nebraska Cornhuskers tickets currently own an average secondary market price of $270 and the cheapest tickets are listed from $156 each. Nebraska seeks a third consecutive win after decimating Fresno State and Wyoming in Weeks 1 and 2, respectively. Oregon heads to Lincoln following wins over UC Davis and Virginia.
