The Cleveland Cavaliers are defending NBA champions, but their first title in franchise history hasn't sent ticket prices skyrocketing on the secondary market this season.

After signing a three-year, $100 million deal with the Cavaliers in the offseason, LeBron James is back to lead the team to a third straight playoff berth this season. Dreams of consecutive NBA championships won't be taxing on the wallet for fans, however, as Cavaliers tickets on the secondary market are the cheapest they've been in three seasons.

On TicketIQ, the average resale price for Cavaliers tickets is $136.49 during the 2016-17 season. That marks a 19 percent drop from last season's average of $168.19 at the beginning of the season. It is a 64 percent dip from the team's $374.90 average at the beginning of the 2014-15 season, when James announced his return to Cleveland.

As is the case each year, fans will be paying the highest resale prices for promotional games and games against marquee opponents. A Finals rematch with the Golden State Warriors will be the top-priced game at Quicken Loans Arena this season. The Christmas Day matchup currently owns a $500 average price and the cheapest tickets are listed from $163 each.

The team's home opener against the New York Knicks on October 25 owned the second highest ticket prices at the Q this season. With the Cavaliers receiving their championship rings and a pre-game banner ceremony, tickets against the Knicks owned a $379 average and $128 get-in price. Other top-priced games this season will come against the Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs and Chicago Bulls.

On the other side of the monetary spectrum, the Cavaliers' cheapest home games will be held against the Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, Houston Rockets and Milwaukee Bucks. The Hawks travel to Cleveland on November 18 for the least expensive Cavaliers home game this season, where tickets average $59 and the get-in price is just $12. A December 13 game against the Grizzlies will offer the cheapest available prices, however, with the get-in price currently listed from $11.
