A handful of single-day passes are also available for sale. A single day for Saturday can be purchased for $440, and a single-day pass for Sunday is available for $332.

Over the years, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has made a name for itself as one of the biggest, hippest, most star-studded festival in the U.S. Although 2016's much-awaited festival ended last weekend, news surfaced over the weekend indicating that even larger-than-life festival event is scheduled to launch this fall. The company behind Coachella, Goldenvoice, will host a festival featuring Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Neil Young, and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters this upcoming October 7 through 9 at Coachella's Indio, California, site. The collective lineup is best known for revolutionizing popular music in the 1960s, and the festival marks the first time all six musicians have ever shared the same bill. The fall mega-festival will likely be historic for other reasons, including its resale ticket prices, which are expected to be announced soon.

Resale tickets for the sold-out Coachella were so far, the priciest of all festivals for 2016. Averages for both weekends clocked in at an average of $871, with the cheapest pass available for either weekend starting at $485. According to a report from Pollstar, Coachella became the highest-grossing music festival in the world in 2015, grossing over $84.3 million. In 2016, Coachella was cited as the “best-attended music festival in the world,” after it brought an attendance of over 99,000 a day over six days.

All of the acts sloted for the as-yet unnamed mega-concert posted teasers on their social media accounts, including video and audio reels which all included the word, “October.”
