Outside Lands music festival has announced a stacked lineup for this summer, and rock legends Metallica, The Who, Gorillaz, Lorde and A Tribe Called Quest will head the lineup for the 10th anniversary of the festival. The 3-day celebration will take place from Aug. 11-13 at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
Outside Lands passes went on sale April 6, with three-day general admission passes priced at $375 and VIP passes priced at $795. The general admission passes will grant access to three full days of music, food, wine, beer, art and comedy. On the resale market, passes are also available, currently starting at $418.
Other acts for the weekend include: Queens of the Stone Age, Fleet Foxes, Solange, Schoolboy Q, Young the Giant, Vance Joy, Kaytranada, Tove Lo, Action Bronson, Thundercat, Bomba Estereo, Empire of the Sun and Above & Beyond.
The Who’s headlining slot will take place immediately after their scheduled Las Vegas residency, which runs from July 29th-August 11th. Metallica’s slot will come at the end of their North American tour in support of Hardwired… to Self-Destruct, and Lorde’s headlining show will come following the release of her long-awaited album, Melodrama, which is slated to drop on June 16th.
