Katy Perry Announces 2017 "Witness" World Tour

May 16, 2017

Fresh off the announcement of her 5th Studio Album, Katy Perry will rule the fall & winter when she tours in support of the aforementioned Witness.

Unofficially kicked off by a performance on the May 20th edition of Saturday Night Live, the tour officially begins September 7th at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus and concludes nearly 5 months later at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena.

Ms. Perry will remain “Chained To The Rhythm” on her 42-City tour hitting nearly every major arena in the US and Canada. Despite the proper On-Sale occurring on Monday May 22nd, resale marketplace TicketIQ says over 7,500 tickets for Katy Perry’s “Witness” tour have already leaked onto the secondary market with an average ticket price of $403.

Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 11th currently has the most robust market, with over 400 tickets available. Conversely Orlando, St. Paul, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, Little Rock and Salt Lake are the smallest market with less than 100 seats available.

Unsurprisingly, New York’s Madison Square Garden on October 2nd is the most expensive date of the tour. Cheapest ticket available is $174 with an average resale price of $629.

As of May 16th, none of the tour dates have resale market tickets available below $100. However, Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena on October 19th is the cheapest date with tickets starting at $113.

“Witness” follows 2014’s Prismatic Tour in which Katy Perry tickets averaged $220 on the secondary market and the “California Dreams” Tour in 2011 which saw an average price of $153 on the secondary market.
Tickets for all North American dates are now available on TicketIQ.
