2017 Seahawks ticket prices are down for first time in 5 years, but still among highest in NFL

The Seahawks enter the 2017 NFL season in the 3rd spot on the ESPN's NFL Power Ranking, which means the 12th man once again has high expectations.

At an average price on the secondary market of $264, Seahawks tickets have the 5th most expensive average listing price on the secondary market, ahead of The Giants and behind the Cowboys.  Below is the complete list of teams with the highest average prices for this season.

Despite the standing among the leagues most expensive this season, Seahawks tickets are actually down by 17% compared to last season, which marks the first time in five years that Seahawks ticket prices have dropped. In fact, over the last five years, Seahawks tickets have the third highest 5-year growth rate on the secondary market, at 54.7%, as the below chart shows.

Given that trend, this may be the chance for fans that have not been able to afford a trip to Century link field to see the action in person. Currently, the two cheapest game on the schedule are against the Rams on December 17th, with tickets starting as low as $161.

At the other end of the price spectrum is the October first game against the Colts, with tickets starting at $201.
