Lion King Tickets Averaging Over $250 Per Seat In February

One of the longest running Broadway shows ever, “The Lion King,” is still going strong after a 17-year-plus run, making the highest grossing Broadway production of all time grossing over $1 billion.  Now showing at the Minskoff Theatre since 2006, The Lion King tells an incredible story of tale and adventure as the musical presents great music, stunning visual artistry, and amazing choreography.  The Broadway musical plays eight times a week and there are still 22 shows scheduled performances left for the month of February.

According to TicketIQ, Lion King tickets on the secondary market have an average price of $259.30 for the month of February. The most expensive show this month is the Valentines Day showing this Saturday as tickets for this show have a current average price of $296.70 on the secondary market, a 14.4% premium compared to the show’s average price for this month and the get-in price for Saturday’s show is $132.

The least expensive show this month is a 7pm showing on February 11 at the Minskoff Theatre.Lion King tickets have a current secondary market average price of $188.63, which represents the only show this month that has tickets with an asking average price of under $200, as the get in price for the show is $107.
