Top Indie & Alternative Concert Tickets Of The Week (2/2)

This week in indie and alternative concerts feature a diverse line-up of artists from indie pop to grunge. This week kicks off on February 2nd with a show by Motion City Soundtrack at the Fillmore in Charlotte, North Carolina. On the 4th of the month indie rock band Haim will be at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California while Cage the Elephant will play the Observatory in Santa Ana, California. Silverstein will be at Club Sound in Salt Lake City Utah on the 5th. Finally on February 8th Bush’s tour with Theory of a Deadman will be at the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

 

2/8 Bush & Theory of a Deadman at the Paramount Theatre - Limited Tickets Available

Grunge band Bush will be playing the Paramount Theatre this week on the 8th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with Theory of a Deadman. Bush last released Man on the Run last october which also commemorated the 20th anniversary of their debut and breakthrough record Sixteen Stone. Theory of a Deadman meanwhile released Savages last summer. The tour will also stop this week at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, Colorado on the 5th and the Arvest Bank Theater in Kansas City, Missouri on the 7th.

 

2/4 Haim at the Grammy Museum - Limited Tickets Available

Haim, the pop-rock band made up of the Haim sisters Alana, Este, and Danielle are playing a show this week in their hometown of Los Angeles, California at the Grammy Museum. The band released Days Are Gone back in 2013 with hit singles “The Wire” and “Falling” and are working on their much anticipated sophomore album. After this one-off show it was announced that Haim will open for Taylor Swift for a short run of tour dates this summer.

 

2/5 Silverstein at Club Sound - Limited Tickets Available

Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein are back on tour and will play Club Sound in Salt Lake City, Utah this week on the 5th. Though the band will release I Am Alive in Everything I Touch in May for these current string of shows the band will be celebrating the ten year anniversary of their 2005 album Discovering The Waterfront. The band will play the album in its entirety and will be supported by My Iron Lung, Major League, and Hands Like Houses.

 

2/2 Motion City Soundtrack at the Fillmore Charlotte - Limited Tickets Available

Pop-punk band Motion City Soundtrack will be at the Fillmore this week on the 2nd in Charlotte, North Carolina. The band last put out Go in 2012 but for this tour will be celebrating the ten year anniversary of 2005’s Commit This to Memory which had the hit breakthrough single “Everything is Alright”. The band will also be at the Mercury Ballroom in Louisville, Kentucky this week on the 4th, Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma on the 6th, and on the 7th at Emo’s East in Austin, Texas.

 

2/4 Cage the Elephant at the Observatory - Average Ticket Price $114 | Get-in: $67

Indie rockers Cage the Elephant will be at the Observatory this week on the 4th in Santa Ana, California. The show has an average ticket price of $114 but fans will be able to get in for as low as $67. This show at the Observatory will be followed by a pair of shows in Los Angeles at the Tower Theatre on February 5th and 6th. Fans should look to hear some new songs as the band is in the process of recording their 4th album due out later this year.
