Indie rockers Built to Spill are heading out on tour this spring and summer in support of their new album Untethered Moon. The new album due out on April 21st on Warner Brothers Records and is the band’s first since 2009’s There is No Enemy. Built to Spill will first appear at the Treefort Music Fest in their hometown of Boise, Idaho on March 27 where there will share the stage with Joyce Manor, TV on the Radio and others. The tour kicks off on April 10th in Visalia, California at the Cellar Door. The band will be in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium on the 15th in between to appearances at Coachella in Indio on the 12th and 19th. The tour will leave California and stop in Tucson, Arizona on the 16th with a show at the Rialto Theater. On May 7th the tour stops at Exit/In in Nashville, Tennessee before heading to the Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta, Georgia on May 9th. On May 24th the band will head north with a show in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Varsity Theatre. That show has the cheapest average ticket price of $51.50 , compared to the tour average of $87.11. The last leg of the tour will start on July 8th with a show at the Edgefield Amphitheatre in Troutdale, Oregon which has the most expensive average ticket price of $94.88. The tour will finish up back in California on July 11 at the Greek Theatre Berkeley in San Francisco.
