Mastodon Tickets on Spring Tour Averaging Over $100 on Resale Markets

April 29, 2015

(UPDATE 4/29/15) Heavy metal band Mastodon is currently out touring in support of Once More ‘Round the Sun, the band’s sixth studio album. Bringing fellow metalheads Clutch along for the ride, Mastodon is seeing a price premium for tickets on the secondary market.

Over the tour’s final four weeks, the average secondary price for Mastodon tickets on TicketIQ is $111.90. The tour’s most expensive date will be on May 2 at Rockwell at The Complex in Salt Lake City. That show currently averages at $334.43. While no other shows average above $300 on the secondary market, one does see a secondary average over $200. That performance will be held on May 9 at the Lincoln Theatre in North Carolina ($226.23).

The band’s cheapest tour date will be on May 10 at Stage AE in Pittsburgh. Tickets to that show currently average at $55.92 and get-in price starts at $47. Surprisingly enough, the cheapest possible ticket will be for a May 3 show at the prestigious Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, where get-in price is listed for just $25.

Mastodon’s Once More ‘Round the Sun Tour continues in North America through May 24. It ultimately wraps its U.S. and Canada leg at the LC Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.
