Top Broadway Tickets Of The Week (6/29)

There are more reasonable prices for Broadway tickets on the secondary market for the top shows featured this week compared to last week.  What hasn’t changed is the top priced show with “The King and I”  continuing to dominate the secondary ticket market.  “The Book of Mormon” and “Fish in the Dark” find their way back to the top shows list after a brief hiatus.  Below is a breakdown of each top Broadway ticket on the secondary market this week on TicketIQ.

6/30/15 – The King and I | Avg. Price: $453.88 | Get-in Price: $275

The new Broadway production, ”The King and I” has gone on an impressive run as the top priced Broadway show on the secondary market since debuting at the Vivian Beaumont Theater this past April.   The King and I tickets for the showing this Tuesday will have an average price of $453.88 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced at $275.

 

6/30/15 – The Curious Incident | Avg. Price: $352.63 | Get-in Price: $138

The Curious Incident” continues to make its way on the top shows list, featured again this week. Curious Incident tickets for the musical are up 13% over the past week and now average $352.63 on the secondary market, with a get in price of $138 for this Tuesday’s showing at the Ethel Barrymore Theater.

 

7/4/15 – The Book of Mormon | Avg. Price: $321.81 | Get-in Price: $138

The Book of Mormon” makes a return to the top shows list after a brief hiatus.  A winner of nine 2011 Tony Awards and considered to be one of the funniest musicals of all time, Book of Mormon tickets for the July 4th showing at the Eugene O’Neill Theater are going for a secondary average price of $321.81, with the cheapest seat priced at $138.

 

7/5/15 – Kinky Boots | Avg. Price: $282.85 | Get-in Price: $85

Kinky Boots” will have a showing this Sunday at the AL Hirschfeld Theater with tickets going for an average price of $282.85 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced at $85.

 

6/30/15 – Fish in the Dark | Avg. Price: $281.17 | Get-in Price: $88
The comedy Broadway show from co-creator of the show “Seinfeld” Larry David’s “Fish in the Dark” also makes a return to the top shows list, though this time with Jason Alexander as the lead, with a showing this Tuesday at the Cort Theater. Fish in the Dark tickets have a secondary average price of $281.17, with a get in price of $88.
