Dispatch Tickets for Upcoming MSG Shows As Low As $16 on Secondary Market

Influential indie rock outfit Dispatch will be briefly hitting the road next week, and the trio is bringing its eclectic sound to New York City’s Madison Square Garden on July 10 and 11. The two midtown Manhattan gigs are the only shows scheduled in North America this year and the first since the band’s five-show trip across Australia in April. The short engagement has elicited enough hype to generate ticket demand on the secondary market, though fans can still get in cheap at both gigs when searching resale outlets.

According to TicketIQ, the average secondary price for Dispatch tickets over the two-show MSG residency is $72.64. Dispatch’s first show on July 10 will be the cheaper of the pair with a ticket average of $68.52 and get-in price starting at $16. The following night, tickets average at $76.03 and the cheapest available ticket is now $21.

Both shows at Madison Square Garden will run under the “DISPATCH:HUNGER” moniker, which is being used to raise awareness on the country’s impoverished that lack the ability to attain food daily. $1 from every ticket sold via the band’s website will go to families suffering from hunger in the U.S. Just one show was originally scheduled for July 11, but overwhelming demand made the band add a second date the night prior.

Dr. Dog will open up the July 11 show. Dispatch’s second and final gig in New York on July 11 will see the John Butler Trio support.
