Another All-Star Game is in the books and the MLB season enters the second half. As a result the top MLB tickets on the secondary market are more expensive than usual.  The struggling Boston Red Sox, who have lost eight of their last ten games represent this week’s top priced MLB ticket when they host the Detroit Tigers this Saturday at Fenway Park.  Here’s a breakdown of each top MLB tickets on the secondary, according to TicketIQ.

 

7/25/15 – Detroit Tigers at Boston Red Sox | Avg. Price: $150.03 | Get-in Price: $42

It’s been another disappointing season thus far for the Boston Red Sox, as they are now 11 games back in the AL East and will begin a three game series with the Detroit Tigers this Friday at Fenway.  The second game of the series this Saturday is the top priced MLB ticket this week, as Red Sox tickets have an average price of $150.03 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $42.

 

7/25/15 – Oakland A’s at San Francisco Giants | Avg. Price: $ 133.74 | Get-in Price: $49

The defending champs San Francisco Giants have been playing better baseball as of late but still trail the Dodgers by 2.5 games for the top spot in the NL West.  San Francisco starts a three-game series this weekend and Giants tickets for Saturday’s game are going for an average price of $133.74 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced at $49.

 

7/25/15 – Philadelphia Phillies at Chicago Cubs | Avg. Price: $133.53 | Get-in Price: $40

The Chicago Cubs are still fighting in the NL Central, but with much competition to deal with as both Cardinals and the Pirates are currently ahead in the standings.  They will host the Philadelphia Phillies at Wrigley Field for a three-game set starting on Friday.  Cubs tickets for the second game of this series on Saturday are going for an average price of $133.53 on the secondary market, with the cheapest seat priced at $40.

 

7/25/15 – New York Yankees at Minnesota Twins | Avg. Price: $122.81 | Get-in Price: $36

The Minnesota Twins are second in the AL Central, but trail the first place Royals by 7.5 games as they will get ready to host the Yankees for three games this weekend at Target Field.  Twins tickets for Saturday’s game have a secondary average price of $122.81, with the cheapest seat priced at $36.

 

7/25/15 – Toronto Blue Jays at Seattle Mariners | Avg. Price: $108.35 | Get-in Price: $20
The Seattle Mariners will look to turn things around after a tough first half of the season, but have gotten off to a rocky start after the All-Star Break, losing four of their past six games.  The Blue Jays come into town for a three game series at Safeco Field starting on Friday.  Mariners tickets for Saturday’s game are going for an average price of $108.35 on the secondary market, with a get-in price of $20.
