My Morning Jacket Announce Two-Night Affair at Red Rocks in May

(UPDATE 12/15/15) Colorado's most sacred venue will be blessed by My Morning Jacket next spring. The rock band on Tuesday announced a pair of shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison set for May 28 and 29.

The two dates are the first announced shows of 2016 for the band as they set to tour their Grammy-nominated album, The Waterfalls. Pre-sale tickets will be made available starting Tuesday, December 15 and the general public will have access to tickets beginning Friday, December 18.

My Morning Jacket Add More Fall Dates to 2015 Tour

(UPDATE 7/13/15) Louisville rock quintet My Morning Jacket recently hit New York City for the Governors Ball last month, but the band will return for a pair of dates at Beacon Theatre in November. After announcing a full-fledged summer tour behind the release of its seventh studio album The Waterfall, MMJ has announced more dates between September and November, many of which will include support from Strand of Oaks. My Morning Jacket Tickets for Chicago Theatre and Fillmore Shows 50% Cheaper than Tour Average on Resale Market

(UPDATE 6/11/15) My Morning Jacket is currently in the Windy City fulfilling a three-show residency at Chicago Theatre. The rock outfit from Louisville, Kentucky is slated to play one more show there tonight before traveling to The Fillmore in Detroit for two shows next Tuesday and Wednesday. Over those three gigs, the average price for My Morning Jacket tickets is $54.36 on the secondary market, 50.4% below the band’s overall tour average of $107.72.

With 46 more shows to play through the end of October, My Morning Jacket’s remaining Chicago Theatre and Fillmore shows are among the cheapest shows left on tour this year. Only a July 22 gig at Artpark Amphitheatre in Lewiston, New York will be cheaper, with tickets for that show currently averaging at $24 on the secondary market. On June 16, the band plays its cheapest date at The Fillmore and tickets currently average at $33. Tonight’s final show at Chicago Theatre owns an average secondary ticket price of $55.56 and the cheapest available ticket is currently $26.

The most expensive show My Morning Jacket will play comes on October 7 at The Great Saltair Resort in Utah. That show owns a secondary ticket average of $183.50 and the get-in price starts at $65. An August 13 show at Starlight Theatre in Kansas City will be the second most expensive of tour, with tickets averaging at $154.73 and a get-in price of $82.

My Morning Jacket Chicago and Fillmore Theater Residencies with Hiss Golden Messenger Begin Next Week

(UPDATE 6/2/15) Louisville rock outfit My Morning Jacket will hit the road with Hiss Golden Messenger next week. The duo will play five dates across the Chicago Theatre and Fillmore in Detroit, making three stops in Chicago before closing out with two in Detroit. The shows will take place between June 9 and 17, and the average price for My Morning Jacket tickets is $100.48 on the secondary market.

The most expensive show comes on June 11 at Chicago Theatre. That show currently owns a secondary ticket average of $108.68 and get-in price starts at $48. The first stop at Chicago Theatre on June 9 also sees tickets average above $100, with median price now listed at $103.63 and get-in price starting at $35.

The cheapest show between the two short residencies will be at The Fillmore on June 17. Tickets for the show currently average at $75 and get-in price is $39.

Following the two short stints in Chicago and Detroit, My Morning Jacket will play summer shows through August 14, ultimately wrapping at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. The band will also tour North America this fall in support of Waterfalls, its seventh and most recent studio full-length.

My Morning Jacket Release The Waterfall, Announce More Fall Tour Dates

(5/4/15) In celebration of its seventh studio album release today, American rock outfit My Morning Jacket has also announced a new batch of North American tour dates in the fall. The quintet will embark on its tour run next week and will play across the globe through the end of October.

The tour will officially kick off on May 15 at the Georgia Theatre in Athens, Georgia. 65 total dates are scheduled over the five-month stretch and will ultimately wrap on October 24 at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Several festival stops will be on the itinerary, including Alabama’s Hangout Festival, Governors Ball in New York City and the Field Trip Festival in Toronto. Across the pond, the band will also play the Electric Picnic Festival in Dublin and the End of the Road Festival in the U.K.

Tickets for all fall dates in the U.S. will go on sale to the general public beginning Saturday, May 9. A special fan club presale will be made available onTuesday, May 5.
