Maybe the defending champs are for real after all.

The team begins the week on an eight-game winning streak and just 3.5 games behind the Baltimore Orioles for the second Wild Card Spot in the American League. With playoff baseball slowly becoming a bigger reality, their trip to Boston this weekend will be a top-priced affair on the secondary ticket market.

The cheapest ticket to Saturday's game is now $79.

Farther north, the Toronto Blue Jays set to host the Minnesota Twins for a three-game series at Rogers Centre this weekend. Marcus Stroman (9-5) gets the nod for the Jays against the Royals' Ervin Santana (6-10).

Out west, the Seattle Mariners will take on the New York Yankees for three games to begin the week.
