Bruno Mars Heads To The Moonshine Jungle For Second World Tour

One of the few artists to make the successful transition from behind-the-scenes songwriter to global superstar in their own right, fans will get the chance to see their idol grace the global arena stage for the first time with the release of Bruno Mars tickets for The Moonshine Jungle Tour.

The 27-year-old performed at various theatres, concert halls and ballrooms during his 103-date Doo-Wops & Hooligans tour across 2010/11. But with the album of the same name since selling six million copies worldwide and follow-up, Unorthodox Jukebox, landing him a Billboard number one, he’s been able to command much larger venues second time around.

Mars will kick off the first of 43 dates across USA and Canada at Washington D.C.’s Verizon Center on June 22nd, with tickets currently starting around $45 for many shows. The tour will conclude at  Miami’s American Airlines Arena on August 30th ($58/$228). Following a brief trip to Central America at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot, Bruno Mars will then travel to Europe to perform a further 28 shows at the likes of London’s O2 Arena, Milan’s Mediolanum Forum and Munich’s Olympiahalle.

Bruno Mars tickets for all of his North American gigs are still on sale on our homepage, with the overall average tour price coming in at $234, although there is limited availability for the July 22nd show at Portland’s Rose Garden ($69/$220). Currently the August 27th concert at Orlando’s Amway Center is the cheapest average price of the whole tour at $125 (get-in price $67), with the July 18th performance at Edmonton’s Rexall Place the lowest get-in price at $41 (average price $209).

Having joined forces with Janelle Monae for the 2011 Hooligans In Wonderland tour, Mars will once again be in some pretty impressive company with British synth-pop chanteuse Ellie Goulding confirmed as support act for every date up to and including the August 15th show at Houston’s Toyota Center ($117/$399), before San Diego indie-soul outfit Fitz & The Tantrums take over opening duties for the remaining ten gigs.

With three US chart-toppers to his name (“Just The Way You Are,” “Grenade,” “Locked Out Of Heaven”) not to mention several other Top 40 hits including “Marry You,” “If I Was Your Man,” “The Lazy Song” and Twilight soundtrack contribution, “It Will Rain,” those with Bruno Mars tickets should expect quite the hit-packed show.

Even more so considering his last tour also featured solo renditions of his collaborations with B.o.B. (“Nothin’ On You”), Bad Meets Evil (“Lighters”) and Travie McCoy (“Billionaire”), alongside cover versions of The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army,” Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” and Barrett Strong’s “Money (That’s What I Want).” While a recent online trailer for the Moonshine Jungle tour also suggest the likes of Unorthodox Jukebox album tracks “Natalie” and “Moonshine” should feature prominently too.
