Riot Grrrl Kate Nash Returns To North America For Third Time In 2013

June 20, 2013

Keen to showcase her recent transformation from Lily Allen’s natural successor to full-on 90s riot grrrl, Kate Nash tickets are now on sale for the 25-year-old’s third North American tour of 2013.

The London singer-songwriter, who previously travelled across the Atlantic for several shows in March and May, will once again return to the States this fall after her own headline European tour and appearances at various festivals including the UK’s Glastonbury, Austria’s Harvest of Art and Belgium’s Dour Festival.

Kicking off at Milwaukee’s Turner Hall Ballroom on October 29, Nash will then take in the likes of Cleveland’s Beach Ballroom on November 3, Atlanta’s Terminal West on November 13 and Austin’s The Mohawk on November 16, alongside a solitary Canadian date at Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre on November 5, before finishing up at Los Angeles’ The Fonda on November 23.

Kate Nash tickets are currently available for the latter show with a get-in price of $219 and an average price of $233, in addition to the concerts at Boston’s House Of Blues on November 8 ($71/$111), New York’s Terminal 5 on November 9 ($52/$75) and San Francisco’s The Fillmore on November 22 ($73/$159). We'll be adding more shows to our inventory as time goes on so make sure to check back in the next few weeks.

Nash’s recent shows have inevitably focused on Girl Talk, her current self-financed third studio effort inspired by the feminist punk-rock of L7, Hole and Bikini Kill, including the singles “3am” and “OMYGOD!,” and buzz release, “Under-Estimate The Girl.”

But fans with Kate Nash tickets who prefer her earlier mainstream pop sound also left satisfied following performances of the biggest hits from her 2007 UK chart-topping debut, Made Of Bricks, (“Foundations,” “Pumpkin Soup”) and 2010’s Bernard Butler-produced sophomore, My Best Friend Is You (“Do-Wah-Doo,” “Kiss That Girl”).

While the BRIT School graduate, who recently had a small role in big-screen music biopic Greetings From Tim Buckley, also threw a few surprises into her set-list with cover versions of Meredith Brooks’ “Bitch” and Fidlar’s “Cocaine.”
