TicketIQ NFL Power Rankings Week 5 Update

October 10, 2013

Sitting atop the ESPN NFL Power Ranking is the Denver Broncos, but they only managed to jump two spots in the TicketIQ Power Rankings to #2 at an average of $333/ticket. Ahead of them for the second week in a row are the Chicago Bears, who have lead the NFL in ticket prices since the preseason. Currently, Bears tickets are averaging $416 per ticket. Rounding out the Top 5 are the Patriots, Giants and Seahawks with average ticket prices of $316, $303 and $298 respectively.

Cincinnati Bengals tickets experienced a 3% increase this week as they were able to move up to the 24th spot on our list (previously 22).  Giving up a 51-point performance to the Broncos the Dallas Cowboys have fallen three spots in the TicketIQ Power Rankings to #11 with an average ticket being $255.

Another team that saw a big week in our power ranking were the Chiefs who have outperformed expectations going undefeated so far and are now 3rd in ESPN’s NFL Power Rankings. Their stellar play has resulted in prices for Kansas City Chiefs tickets to rise 11% to an average of $147 and moving them up 4 spots to #19 on our list.

Cam Newton has yet to lead Carolina to a winning season after showing promise as a rookie. Now in his third year, Newton alone is not enough to keep fans coming to Bank of America Stadium week in and week out. In this week's update, prices for Carolina Panthers tickets have fallen 10% this week for an average price of $126, good enough to claim the 23rd spot in our list.

Geno Smith has become the talk of the town after leading Gang Green to a last second victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football. NY Jets tickets are currently 13th in the TicketIQ Power Rankings with an average ticket price of $181.
